After a day in the snow, families can warm up with good cheer at the Library and support a great cause (purchasing an essential research source for the Library). Enjoy classic cocktails (Zelda’s Manhattan, Hemingway’s Rum Punch, and The Dashiell Hammett), hearty appetizers and kid-friendly snacks, hot chocolate and apple cider. Rachel Gall will be back again this year with her violin to provide live and lively music for adults (although sometimes the kids like to dance to it, too) and there will be a movie for the kids — Holes.
Tickets are $30 per adult. Kids 16 and under are free. Please bring additional appetizers to share. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of a compete set of the 2016 World Book Encyclopedia.
Reservations are strongly recommended. Purchase tickets in advance at the Library or on-line via PayPal. If buying tickets at the door bring cash or check only.
*There is no snow date.
