A new exhibition opens at The Library on May 17. Called “Moments in Flora,” the show consists of a selection of Krista Narciso’s prints and drawings and will run through mid-July. As the artist says on her website, kristanarciso.com, “Each work is a quiet moment in time; a vivid memory.”
Narciso is an emerging artist working across the media of drawing, printmaking and book arts. She studied at the Hartford Art School, where she earned a BFA in printmaking. Her work has been exhibited, collected, and published nationally and internationally. In addition to her work as an artist, Narciso is an educator and arts administrator. She has held various positions at several non-profit galleries and museums and currently lives in Connecticut.
An artist’s reception will be held May 21 from 6 – 8 pm.
