This Cornwall garden has been a work in progress for 35 years. Initially, the owners cleared the land to expose a beautiful brook and planted many specimen trees. Later, they added a pond and and planted perennials along the bank. Finally, they created more flower beds and added stone walls to accentuate the perimeter of the house and barn. The focus of the owners, both gardeners, has been to provide a variety of shapes and shades of green and to make for themselves an unfussy, low maintenance garden that gives them the time to enjoy it.
