Curbside Pick-Up

Instructions regarding curbside pick up at the Cornwall Library:

  1. Please use the Library’s website to choose your books or movies. (More about this below.)
  2. Email your request to director@cornwalllibrary.org. Include the title and author and limit your request to 2 items. We can accept phone calls for requests from noon until 1pm weekdays but it may take us longer to respond to phone requests and we have to limit phone requests to 1 item. Using either method, let us know how best to contact you when your order is ready for pickup.
  3. We will wrap your selection for privacy, put your name on it, and leave it outside the front door of the Library. Please practice safe social distancing at the pick-up table.
  4. Books can be returned as usual in the outside return box.
  5. Please do not participate in this program if you are feeling unwell.
  6. Please use appropriate caution when opening your order.

To access the Library’s collection, please use this link: https://corn.agverso.com/home?cid=corn&lid=corn. Regretfully, the interlibrary loan system is not operating so we cannot request books from other Libraries.

We may modify the curbside pickup program going forward. You will be kept informed via email.

The Cornwall Library has extended its curbside service to include “Blind Date with a Book” in which patrons let Library staff choose a book for them. If you would like a “Blind Date” please email Margaret Haske (director@cornwalllibrary.org) with a general idea of what you like and they will put a few choices together for you. Also, note that there are magazines by the front door of the Library. Please help yourself and return them to the book drop.
