This wonderfully original and much celebrated garden is situated in the heart of West Cornwall overlooking the Housatonic River. Multi-tiered terracing leads a visitor down a precipitous hillside and into a series of highly imaginative garden rooms, replete with architectural fragments, raised perennial beds, reflecting pools, cobblestone pathways, and even a small grotto. The overall spirit of the garden is distinctly Italian.
