i pastori – A Cheese Tasting From the Shepherds of Sardenga

Local dairy farmer and cheesemaker Tommy Eucalitto is hosting an intimate cheese tasting directly from Shepards of the Italian Island of Sardinia. With the help of friends and fellow Shepards/Cheesemakers Emilio Spada (Marche, Italy) and Samuel Lai (Gergei, Sardinia), Tommy will be traveling around the island sourcing cheeses, wine, salumi and other foods with hopes of providing a taste of the ancient Sardinian traditions here at the Cornwall Library. Join us for a curated (seated) tasting, a screening of a short (30 minute) documentary by Giovanna and Marco de Poli and a cheesemaking demonstration at 5:30pm on October 6th. Local designer Sophie Randall will be setting the table. Seating is limited. $35 per person.
