Using poems and prompts, Van Doren will guide participants to unlock their imaginations and generate unexpected new work in in-class writing sessions. Bring a photo of a favorite flower or the flower itself. A poet, artist, and teacher, Van Doren is the author of four books, including Sibilance and Sex at Noon Taxes, which received the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets.
