Watercolor Flowers with Collette Hurst

March 19, 26, and April 2   (10 am to 11:30 am)
$75 includes 3 Saturday sessions – payable to the instructor at class
Class in the Activity Room with personal spacing – max 10 attendees

Create colorful, textured, shimmering paintings of buds, blossoms and foliage.  A class presenting watercolor materials and supplies, composition, and a variety of techniques including color mixing, brushstrokes, washes and shading.  Students of all levels welcome.  Supply list provided prior to class or bring supplies you have.

Collette Hurst creates works in many media including watercolor, pastels, prismacolors, photography, and textiles.  She resides in Litchfield County, Connecticut and presents art workshops for Litchfield Hills Continuing Education (EdAdvance), libraries, community centers and private studio classes.  She is a past President of the New Hartford (CT) Art League and was a contributing artist, associate producer, and host for several years of the weekly cable television program Artworks shown by Nutmeg TV in the Farmington Valley and Long Island Sound areas of Connecticut.  Artworks presented interviews and original work of New England visual, literary, and performing artists. More information: www.collettehurst.com
