childrens events

Celebrate Halloween in the village with trick-or-treating, hot dogs outside the library from 5:30–6:30 PM, and a carved pumpkin contest with drop-off at 5 PM.

Unearth your love for science in this fun and interactive S.T.E.M. show for the whole family.

With help from audience volunteers, we’ll conduct exciting science experiments all about the changing states of matter, pressure, and more — while raising a shovel to scientists who work with dirt!

If you didn’t already love science, you’ll really ‘dig it’ after seeing Science Heroes in action!

Registration is required.

Thursday mornings 10:30 – noon, and Saturday, November 14, 10:30 – noon.

Children and their grown-ups are invited to join Miss Rita for stories, songs, and a little library magic.
